This oil was a last resort on my part to stop my cats from clawing the carpet on the bottom step of the staircase in our home. I just dabbed a little across the step, and they have left it completely alone ever since. It also created a lovely soft lemon scent in the entry. I use it in the bathrooms, too. I bought this to combine with lavender essential oil and/or peach seed and almond carrier oils for a natural insect/mosquito repellent for myself and gardens. My neighbors and friends love it for that purpose. I also use it for a strong fragrance inside the home as well. Very potent, but I love lemons.
